Every day countless individuals have their social media accounts hacked, suspended and/or deleted. There is often little recourse or explanation. Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and Threads, is particularly awful. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is more concerned about increasing his already obscene wealth than providing any kind of meaningful customer support for the 3 billion users on his platforms. As FTC Chairwoman Lina Khan put it recently, Zuckerberg and his companies are “Too Big to Care.”
Zuck Sucks is a DIY grassroots effort to publicly shame Zuckerberg and lobby elected officials to regulate Big Tech. We demand accountability, meaningful customer support and transparency from social media giants.
